It was the beginning of October and the days felt shorter, clouds absorbed the colors of the sky and days were grim. Bark lost its color as the leaves began to slowly change to the color of blood. Once the leaves turned, they would be the end of their life. Swaying back and forth in the endless clear walls of he world elevating its way to the ground...digging its own grave in the thin weeds of parched soil.

A loud Tick, tick, tick, tick is the sound every half second coming from my rear sprocket. Hydrenelen rushes through me like a jet as I approach the drop. Doing a 360, bar spin off a ten foot drop wasn't a real easy thing. Doing one thing wrong can couse some serious wreckage. I didn't think about that. All I thought about was landing it and having the pride of landing the trick. Then I go into the air pulling as hard as I could. I tighten my grip on the handlebars and use my hips and calls to spin through the air. Then I give my handlebars a flick. I watch them and time the grab right. Perfect. I land on the back then to the front. I did it. WOOHOO!

It was a bright warm and magical day. There was an amazing double rainbow, with every color in the world. It was not like any other rain bow. There was a million multi-color dancing butterfly’s, in the baby blue sky. All the people were dancing, playing, and, laugh with others. There were beautiful gold, and silver, also pink, purple, orange, yellow, red, and more any color that you can imagine flowers on the lime green grass .by kathy

As my hips sway to the beat of the hoofs, I realized I was cantering. I could not believe it. It was a feeling that I had never felt before, I was going fast, but I was not in a car or on a roller coaster. I was sitting on an animal 10x my size and I could control it with a simple nudge of my heel.

The waves slowly curled and bent over the rocks on the seashore. The cold sand lay still and undisturbed. It's hard to believe that even a couple minutes ago a full out brawl happened here. I think the landscape is as shocked as I am.

I was told to be at the beach by seven. And even though I was a few minutes late, it seems as though It was a few hours. When I arrived, three men lay unconscious on the ground while seven others stand in a circle beating each other. Some put up their hands and hobble over to the lifeguard tower as a sign of mercy. Blood drips down one of the guy's cheeks and the other has a black and blue bruise draped across the side of his face. "I don't belong here." I told myself. "I need to leave." But it was too late. Just as I had said that one of the guys in the ring pulled me towards him and wound up like he was about to punch me square across the face. I could see his fist descending towards me and then it suddenly stopped. The police. I have to hide.

HELP,HELP.I say as I stand there my hands dripping with sweat. Cold, alone, pain that is all I can feel, STOP. As the evil shadow violently over takes me. I scream but nothing comes out, I run but it feel like boulders holding me down, and I as I tell my self that I can be free. I know that that there is no way, out. HELPPpp...

There I was. Sitting on the cold, hard chair. Rocking back and forth on my chains,a foot away from the ground. We start to rise. After reaching about 20-40 feet, we suddenly stop. We slowly start to swing. We are rising again, reaching 100 feet. Now 200 feet, 300 feet, 400 feet. We slowly start to sink. Now we stop swinging. 200 feet, 100 feet, 1 foot. It's over.I wish it wasn't. Joe R.

I can tell they near. Sometimes I can hear their footsteps, but just as quickly as they start, they are muffled again so that I can not hear them. The chilling night air keeps me alert and aware, but I am still drowsy, and frightened that I may fall asleep. I would certainly be found if I did. A slimy, cold rock gripped in one hand, a crumpled paper with a code yet to be deciphered in the other, I wander on. The screech of a horde of crows scolds me for invading in their territory. Then I stop. I hear voices in front of me. I hear footsteps behind me. Nowhere else to go, I walk on. I come to a turn, and slowly peek around, and… Nothing there. So I move on. Then at the next corner, I stop. For a second, I think I can smell someones sweat, but it disappears. A few minutes later, I look around the corner, more confident this time, and… Darkness. Everything went dark.

It was a bright and sunny Autumn day. The birds were chirping and the leaves were blowing in the wind. I ran outside and jumped into a ginormous pile of leaves. The land and colors were beautiful. There was brown, just like the warm taste of hot chocolate, red, yellow, the sun was really nice, orange, green and many, many other colors that were very delightful. The weather as the best of the best. It was really warm and just the right amount of wind to keep me just right. I could taste the sweet smell of warm, crisp apple pie that my mom was whipping up in the kitchen. Autumn is wonderful and the best season ever!

It was a long time before Billy saw the fierce predator stalking him. Billy had just sat down to eat his PB&M (peanut butter and mayo)sandwich when he saw it. Eyes as red as a burning ember, fur as black as the midnight sky, it was truly horrific. Billy turned to run but saw that he was surrounded by more of the foul beasts. He stood up on a high rock and yelled at the creatures. Alas, this was his fatal mistake. One by one, With teeth bared, the beasts made sure Billy would never return. Billy learned an important lesson that day. If you are cornered by skunks, never threaten them, they probably want your sandwich. Billy learned this lesson the hard way but never had to take a tomato sauce bath .

As I hear the rush of wind and surging foamy water about to envelope me, adrenaline pumps through my veins and I embrace the pain and shock. Gravity shifting my innards, I plunge headfirst into a cold darkness which knows no boundaries. Like a paparazzi crowd, the deep blue ocean yanks be back and forth, nearly ripping me into two completely different beings. Sensing a horrifying pressure, I kick and flail, but all in vain, only to find the ocean floor greeting me as my final place of eternal slumber.

It was the championship game, and I was nervous. I had just injured my thumb the last game and I couldn't let my team down so I had to play. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach but when my team took the field, they all went away. The fear of failing went away. The fear of not getting a hit or making an error in the field went away. When I stepped up to the plate for the first time in the game and the bases were loaded I felt confident and ready to drive the ball to the outfield.

It twas October and it was dark and cloudy with the moon to a rise. It was the time where werewolves came alive. It was known as all hallows eve where everyone has died may come abrupt from the ground and scare all the children all night round. There was to be running and screaming and so I was doing, hoping the monsters would not hear me and I would not be a brewing to try and stay alive. Some were not lucky unlike me although I'm still fighting to try and stay alive.

The icy air prickling my already cold face. I feel my stomach drop as I walk across the sticky substance that squirms as I walk forward. I hear the silence broken by an unholy scream, as a shrouded figure jumps out at me, I fall backwards. The fear eats at me as I scream "Ahhh!" People rush forward shaking me. My name calling me back, but pain lurching me towards the ever comforting state of unconsciousness. My heart feels as if it has moved to my throat. The darkness devoured me. Though, I fought to stay awake, sleep soon over took me.

I looked up at the skull of the so called haunted house. I open the door and look for a light switch. Finding one I turn it on to a dim glow. Inside I see a fireplace, couch, wooden desk, and a broken mirror. Next to the fireplace is a staircase. I slowly walk up the rickety steps to the second floor. There are four doors. I open the closest one to see a bedroom. With shelves of old creepy dolls. On the bed there is a raggedy Ann doll. I walk across the hallway to the next door and open it. Inside there is another bedroom. This one has ripped up books and dead spiders everywhere. The bed is also thrown across the room. I feel a presence behind me but when I turn around I see nothing. I try the third doors handle but it is locked. I open the forth door to find a staircase to the attic. I sluggishly climb the steps. I try the light switch but it doesn't work so I take out a flashlight. Looking around the attic I see another wooden desk, a old vase, a painting of a person crying, a toy box, and another raggedy Ann doll. I feel the presence again and the flashlight dies. I grope around for the staircase railing. Once I find it I race down the stair. Down the hallway barely seeing that all the doors are closed. Run down the other stairs and out the door. I turn back to see the raggedy Ann doll watching me from the second floor window. I don't stop running until I get home.

While hiking steadily up the hill, I can feel my pulse in my head. My adrenaline pumping faster than a cheetah running across a plain. While I inspect what is ahead of me all I spot is red, orange, yellow, green and brown colored leaves. My nose is filled by the scent of raw grass and crisp air. As I walk back home for dinner I smile and continue to notice the beauties of autumn as our world makes it change from summer to winter.

I step in as the glass door closes behind me like jaws of a predator on its prey. There is silence. I stare blankly at the big red button. It stares back at me with a mean glare whispering "Push me..." so I slowly raise my hand and push the button with a slight click the beast turns on. The whir of gears and machinery start and the wind tunnel starts.

The votes are in, and you've won. Your brain is suddenly rushed with thoughts. You know what you need to teach, and what to prevent. Your ready to lead your team to victory. Your ready to feel the pressure of a loss. Your ready to to keep your team grounded through the stress.
Hear the names of your partners in crime, a plan forms in your mind. Together you will decide the fate of your team, and the players it's composed of. The responsibilities, hit you like a truck. Making the lines, taking the rookies under your wing, or just possessing the title in general. Either way it's to late to turn back now, because you have earned the title of "Team Captain".

I yell to my mom that I'll be down in a minute, but that first, I have to grab my helmet, gloves and boots. In the rush of trying to get my necessities together, I stumble around as if an imaginary crowd is pushing me to the inside of it. I don't pay much attention to my hands as I smash the door shut onto my hand. Ouch, the burning sensation spreads from the tips of my fingers to where my wrist is. At first the hurting stops for a moment, as if saying it surrenders. I feel as if a beast came and chomped my hand off. After standing there in agony for a second, my mom yells for me to hurry up. I answer her with such calmness, you couldn't have guessed I had just slammed my hand into my bedroom door. I look into the mirror to see warm, salty tears stream down my pale, white face.

Where the mountains of snow used to be there is now fully blossomed purple, pink and yellow flowers. The neighbors apple tree is just starting to grow tasty red apples, and the sun is shining down on the new dew covered shoots of grass. As afternoon fades away I can hear the spring peepers start to peep. The fish start to nip at the surface of the pond to grab one last fly before they swim away for the night, I sit on the picnic table and look up at the star filled night sky.

I didn't know the time. Raindrops pound on my long wet hair. Its cold and dark as the street lights glow upon me. I can't find my way home, I don't know where I am. I stumble along the vacant street and almost trip over my own feet. I cant focus on anything but what is in front of me. I feared what could happen to a boy like me. Beaten and cold, no one in this town would help me. I've done so many bad things to this little town. They knew me like they know the back of their own hand. If they didn't know who I was they must have been from out of town. I mean... I'm a criminal... A criminal on the run. All alone, With no one to help.

My friends and I burst through the theater doors, the aroma of salty, buttery popcorn filled the air. We sprinted up the aisle to find our seats in the back. Then all the lights went dark, and the loud sound of the previews came blasting through the speakers. We all jumped a mile in our seats. We all laughed at ourselves for being so scared. As the movie started we all were dead silent as we shoved our faces full of candy. The movie was so suspenseful I was on the edge of my seat every minute. I couldn't predict what might happen next. By the end of the movie my jaw dropped to the floor. My mind was blown because I wasn't ready for the movie to be over. There were so many unanswered questions. Come to find out there is a sequel to be made! On the car ride home my friends and I talked about how exciting and thrilling the movie was and how much fun we had seeing it together.

Slowly the monster crawled towards me. I backed up and hit the door behind me. I slowly ran my hand over the moist wooden door. I could run I thought, no...it would catch me. I looked out the window beside me, it was pitch black out. No one would hear my scream i thought suddenly. I would die here and they would find my body years from now, and they wouldn't care. I would just be that random girl who was always kept to herself. As the beast leaped for my throat a flash of lightening hit the window and it shattered, cutting my bare feet. The last thing I remember was a burst of pain as the monsters claws sunk into my neck.

I’m back…, says the icy wind. It seeps down my back, not resting until every bone in my body has felt its wrath. I wear my North Face and a two inch thick hoodie over it, yet the frigid wind still finds a way in. It will break through all barriers to get to me. My finger start trembling uncontrollably. Stop, stop, I tell them, but they go on. My fingers are governed by the cold, not me. My hands grasp the styrofoam cup. Inside is a warm, chocolaty oasis. I put the cup to my lips and allow the brown substance to slide across my tongue. It tastes rich with a hint of sweetness. Gulp. It slips down my frozen throat and forces the cold, but I know that the frost will be back. The warmth is only temporary. For a split second, warmth had won the war, and the bitter and icy wind had been defeated. All of the sudden, it was back. I started swallowing mouthfuls of hot chocolate, wanting the warmth to stay. Suddenly, there was no more, not even a single drop. Gone. It was back the the same old bone chilling cold. Hello icy wind...

One, two, three, four. The beat of his gallop swings me back and forth. The open field in front of us excites us both. He gets faster, racetrack speed. I don't care. When ever I am on him, I know that I am safe. My excitement gets to him and he crow hops , just for fun. He slows knowing he has done something wrong, but I kick him on. His hoofs leave prints in the soft grass. I focus on the ground ahead of us as he runs on. -Jenna Morse

It was a crisp morning and my dad and I were the first one on the roller coaster. I step on the roller coaster my heart thumping, quickly. I sit down buckle myself in. We race to the top of the incline of the first hill. We start the way down the first hill, the blood shrieking screams of the people around me fills the air. Nearly piercing my ears. We hit the second, third, and final hills. We finally come to a jolting stop of the hair raising ride. I get off the ride with a chilling sensation that runs through my body.

Branches on the dormant trees go clack, clack, clack. Long, thin arms reach out, covering the ebony sky, except for occasional glimpses of a werewolf moon. The shadows reveal nothing, just, every once in a while, only large shapes moving in the corner of my eyes, darting for deeper cover as soon as I spin to face them. A lone coyote howls, sending spiders crawling up my back. The path underfoot winds into the dark, with anything hiding beyond the spirals, leading me in circles, no way to get back. A Red Riding Hood gone wrong, no fairy godmother lighting the path, no bread crumb trail. Just me, in the woods on All Hallows Eve.

The fog rolls in. The clouds part, revealing the moon ever-shinning. You quicken your pace. Winds blow as if on command. A low moan emanates behind you. You start a brisk run, panting in the cold night. Longing to get away from here. The path opens before you. You face a clearing. Sheer rock covers all sides trapping you. The moan grows louder and louder. The sound of scuffling steps approaches from behind. You turn to face the creature. Your worst nightmares have awoken. Your mother says in a low stern voice “Son just do the dishes please.” You have dish duty on taco Tuesday.

We were walking around, together. As we hear the distant screams of kids scared out of their minds. I look around. I can't see anything but I feel the chainsaws and laughs surrond me. On the outside I look as cool as a cat. But on the inside, I'm panting faster than a dog. My brain tells me to turn back, but I continue forward trying not to pay attention to the creatures following me. As if on cue, something taps my shoulder from behind. It was a cloudy day where the wind would blow in a three hundred sixty degree angle. The pavement was quite , not a single pebble would move until the fast moving speeding demons came by. The mood was very quick but it was also sentimental like a special joyful feeling. Fifteen crashes you could not wait for but is also sentimental at the same time. With more than one lap around a circle with lots of time to kill is a piece of cake for a fan. But also can be a little bit of jitters going down your spin. I anxiously walk into the newly groomed arena, reins in hand and horse trailing behind me. My heart is beating so fast, I swear it could be the drums that Ashton Irwin from 5 Seconds Of Summer would play. I bring Coch over to the mounting block, check my girth and stirrups, and easily mount. There aren't butterflies in my stomach, I'm pretty sure it is birds. I breath in the scent of horses and relax and sigh, this shouldn't be that bad, I am fine, all I need to do it not tense up and use as much leg as possible. "Halt!" The judge bellows, and the birds (butterflies) start up again. Coch and I stop. I am sitting straight up and the judge nods, urging us to walk again. We trot and canter, the feeling just the same. This is my first show, and in the trot I almost go the wrong diagonal, thank you Judge for not looking at me! At the canter my emotion boils up inside me, just like a pot of noodles cooking on the stove top. We go into the middle of the ring, waiting for places. The judge clips a blue ribbon on to Coch's bridle. Wait what? Coch and I won?!

A sense of gratification fills me as we walk onto the field. The whole team wearing their dark home jerseys. The home field of the Lunenburg Bengals. Our three team captains walk towards us as we break into a run. Meting them halfway. Kick off team run out onto the playing field ready for the game to start. Ready for our last game. Ready, to finish the season. The whistle blows, and the game, begins.

Anxiously I step into the darkness below me and slowly pull the delicate silk over my head, zipping it up until it reaches the top of my back. I slide my feet into the silver under my toes. I lock my feet into place and begin pacing worriedly. What if I fall? Will everyone stare at me? The music begins, the doors fly open and with every step I become more apprehensive of the next to come. Seeing the people in front of me makes me think that they could be just as nervous as I am. Tears rolled from the balloon like cheeks of the young boy. His voice remained silent as if his lips were zipped shut. He sees commotion in his eyes from the reflection off of the window he peeps through, as his mom speaks to the fire chief in what remains of his house. As a cool breeze blows through his tousled hair, the boy pulls a tiny match from his pocket. Holding up the match, he sees a reflection of it near his face full of black ash. He decides this is too much for him and drops the match. It was dark and hazy. The woods was so black I couldn't see two feet in front of me. My leg was stinging with pain because I got it caught in a twig while I was walking. I could hear wolves howling at the moon which made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Running now, I could barely go straight with my brain pounding against my head as if screaming, "Get me out of here!" Branches hit my face like whips but I kept going. I felt like I wasn't even moving because I couldn't see, but then I fell into what seemed like nothing. The wind blew in my face making my hair push back. My brain kept telling me that I should be hollering and crying but that didn't happen, for some odd reason a feeling of peace flowed inside me.

Mood

The rain was falling slowly and elegantly. Splashing on the green leaves of nature. It was the first heavy rain of the season, as I sat there in an immense chair wrapped in a heap of blankets. I started to zone out and had a flashback about my 9th birthday when I went indoor skydiving that was a good cheerful memory and then I remembered that my 13th birthday was in a few months and then all my cheerfulness just dropped into my stomach.

I grasped the cold doorknob and turned it slowly to the right. I pushed the door open. The hinges squeaked and I was stunned by the hug of icy wind. The room was painted black with shadows. I darted my eyes to the side to see nothing. I pushed the door open a little farther, and slowly moved my boots into the room. I shift my weight to cause an echoing of creaking. I shift my eyes to the other side, and there he is. He gets up, and brings his power-filled fist into my jaw. Red dots blur the side of my vision. The walls fly further, and further away. Everything goes obsidian black. My body lays cold, and powerless as I become eaten away by the shadows.

I'm walking the moonlight shining on my hair and her coat the sound of crickets and peoples whispers ride on the wind. The flowers that Im braiding in her hair compliment her in many ways. I stop here and there to shed tears, hot and rolling down my face. I look up at the full moon, I stare, she's stares, we both stare, for it fet like minutes but it was only a moment. I walk on in the chilled air. When I hear my siblings racing up to me, telling me it's time to go. My heart beat quickens at the thought of leaving her. The reminder of school the next morning stabs my heart. And I sadly and quietly with tears strolling down my cheeks bring her to where she stays and kiss her long nose goodnight. And press a long Goodbye between my lips.

Colors are all I see. They are blurred, faint, and mixed, yet the only sense that I can seem to grasp. They move at a fast pace, rising, falling, shifting, and colliding in the blink of an eye. Sounds begin to penatrate the barrier of protection that I had previously formed around myself. The shouts of nurses and pleads of family members weasel their way into my damaged skull, and I moan in agony. It hurts, all the voices, and the colors. I pressed my hands to my ears, trying to signal to the unknown people to be quiet, but what used to be whispers still grow louder into what seems like battle cries. I take shallow breaths, my chest rising and falling with effort. It stings just to perform such a simple task as that of breathing. The voices grow louder still, and the clanging of metal doors echoes through my brain over and over. A small beeping noise adds itself to the list, followed by the steady beating of a heart. Is it mine? Sweat beads my hairline pours down my temples. I take one more sharp breath, wincing in pain, and close my eyes. All the colors vanish, and the sounds fade away, receding back into nothingness one by one. I sigh in relief. It's all better now.

The cold, creamy feeling gives me the chills as it runs through my body. I feel like the titanic was floating through me and crashed into an iceberg in my mouth. My teeth looks like a unicorn threw up on them, there were colors everywhere! I look out across the ocean from the top of the world. It's getting to the top and I put my hands up before it drops. Then it sinks and I wonder how it would feel to stop at the top of the Ferris wheel. The ocean breeze blows my hair back as I reach the bottom. Looking over my shoulder with my hand over my mouth trying to quite my breathing. I see trees upon trees. I'm so scared I can't even keep my head over my shoulder, I just want all of this end. My eyes force shut and allow my head to slam against the rough flaky tree.

I ran throughout the mossy hall walls the hot burning sun pounding on my back. I never stopped to look back. Memorizing every turn. Sweat was dripping off my forehead. Then I saw it standing there mocking me. I stopped dead in my tracks. I knew it was over. We stood there for what seemed like an hours. A morbid creature stood in front of me, long, lanky metal legs and it looked as if scrap metal was just thrown on the creature. Sharp knives and spikes were lined on the creature’s back. It looked me straight in the eye and raced after me spinning. Clinking, whirley it was much faster than me, gaining on me, coming closer with each step… Run faster! faster! A sudden surge of pain ran through me. I was out cold…

My hands dripping with blood. A dead body as white as moon light with a knife in his chest. I faintly remember what happend. He attacked me fast and hard with his dryed up hands. He hit my face, another person was drowning my freind. I took my knife with a gold incrested blade. I stabbed him. There was blood. So much blood he fell I look over to the other people they all run. I fell and it hurt. I thought I would never kill him. My Heart was broken I had killed Bob and now he was dead. Ponyboy asked me what happend I told him. His face frozen as ice.

In a world where children go to school and video games are outlawed there is no hope for our world...Or is there...The one hope for our world could be the genius scientist notch the creator of the game minecraft and his ingenious idea to make it so addictive. But now that video games are not allowed they became video game zombies! The only way to stop them is to shut down the game. But will they let us do that? Probably not we'll have to contain them in a prison until the game is shut down! "Sir notch was just eaten by the zombies."

In out in out. I think to myself as a run faster and faster. Pumping my arms harder. Making my feet go faster. I can see the finish line now. Faster faster faster I run. Now I'm only a few yards away. Faster and faster I cross the finish line.

It was late at night I heard it,it sounded like unsteady breathing. I thought it was coming from the closet. I got up very quietly, and edged closer and closer and closer to the door. I was about three feet from The door. From here it sounded like someone trying to start a dead car. I finally built up the courage, I swung open the door and...

The full power of the moment finally hit me. Like riding a bike next to parked cars and one car opens their door right before you ride by. The ever-slow-slightly wind threatens to shake me just a tiny bit. The enraging sound of people cheering in the background. The crinkling of a water bottle even though you asked them to stop 5 times. The fake grass provides a fast roll. My hips twist slowly and my arms move gently. I truly know, I was born for this moment. The soft "tap" of my club against the ball makes everyone gasp! The bright fluorescent orange ball slowly makes it's way towards the hole. I can tell my aim was perfect. (As always). The ball drops into the hole and I scream! For I have just own for my team in competitive mini golf!

The warm breeze danced across my face. Green prickly grass tickled my fingers as I just laid there. Birds sing sweet songs as the trees sway side to side almost like there dancing. Everything around me is just perfect.

The cold rain falls from the deathly black sky. I am running from what I believe are spawns of satan, demons with four arms and no eyes. They were burning on fire. I tried to run but I wasn't fast enough. I had slipped in the mud and collapsed in the horrific sight of dead lifeless body's. While struggling to get up a large demon came over me, I new that I was done. It was satan himself.-cj McGinnis

Running through the twisting trails of the woods in the moon light. Jumping over the narled roots and ducking under razor sharp twigs. The cries of the wind matched those of me. My heart pounding in my chest so hard I nearly fell over. There was no one in sight, all still chained to the very fabric of the air. When your running for your life you don't think, but you see everything. The beads of sweat rolling into my eye's. The forest gave way to a clearing. I thought it was a good thing until I saw that the clearing was the home of my death. In the center was what I feared most, a giant black widow. When I say giant I mega the size of a mini van, with legs the size of a full grown human being. My blood ran cold as the spider looked at me with all eight eye's. As the beast sprang to sink its fangs into me, every thing slowed down. My last thoughts were that this is not how I die, I will get out of this, I will live...

as I bit into a crisp, crunchy apple I heard the birds chirp around me. I saw butterflies flitter by as if they were having a race with each other the trees around me looked as if the we're crowding around me like I was trapped. I hummed the song "imagine" by the Beatles the birds around me whistled the tune along with me. A tree fell crashing into the others like dominoes. I heard the bang and crash al around me. the wind whistled even louder and it started to rain I saw a shadow of a man running words me. I heard a gunshot. It was me... then I woke up.

I step on to the field. I walk to the goal, slow as a slug, my gloves like a a snake, wrapped around my hands. I study the competition as I near closer to the goal. Every step I take makes me more nervous, because the competition is stiff. I hear the screams of the fans, they are seagulls on a beach, running from a six year old who just lost his sandwich. "LETS GO LUNENBURG!" I hear as everyone takes the field. Then the sound of the whistle that suspends my train of thought. The game is on! -Dale L.

(I am very late on this, sorry)

Stalking through the island, I come to an abrupt stop due to the crime scene before me. There, laying in the prime evidence, was the pursuer sleeping on the job. I was so close to getting the revenge he deserved, so close to delivering his destined fate more soon than he'd intended. But, something held me back, or was it someone that did? Regardless if they were family or not I had to satisfy my blood thirst. His life was in my hands and I had to make my decision now or never, for my prey was stirring in his slumber on his throne of deception. Forces battling in my mind over the superior concision with the superior idea, striking each other with an envious attitude, attacking my potential victim was the idea that won out. Time was ticking, and consciousness was gaining control of him. He had one last thought in hiss groggy state, then rolled over to meet my enraged eyes.
"Lexi-" was all he could manage.

t was the bottom of the sixth inning we were losing 2-5. There were runners on 2nd and 3rd. If we won this game then we were on to the championship.1 out Charlie Waltz was up to bat. I could tell how tense he was. There 2 strikes and 1 ball., and I was hoping for the best. Charlie looked very agitated, and he definitely did not want to get out. The pitcher, his face like a angry viking. The pitcher was coming into his set position, looking like he was going to throw the ball 100 miles per hour. He wanted that out. Charlie looked down at coach, coach said”smash kiddo”, with an angry look on his face. I closed my eyes, Crack! I looked up and saw the ball soaring through the air, and I could tell it was gone. The look on Charlie's face was mindblowing. When Charlie got into the dugout he was screaming “am I dreaming?!” Coach said “that was a bomb kid”. He had just tied up the game, 5-5. The next batter got out. Now I was on deck, anxious I wanted to get up. Coach gave him the bunt sign, that meant that he wanted me up, and that he trusted me to get a base hit. He bunted in for a single, Safe! yelled the umpire. I was up. I walked out to the plate looked down at coach and he said” you know what you need to do” ,and I did. Before I stepped in I looked down at first base where my dad was standing. He gave the look and I knew that it meant crush it. In my head I was thinking crush it , crush it over and over again. It was so nerve wracking being in that position and potentially being able to get a walk off and win the game for my team. The pitch was coming in it felt like time had just stopped and I was in control. Then all of a sudden it was back to normal, and I swung my little heart out and Crack! When I heard that I knew that I had just won the game. The ball was sailing over the left fielder's head , and it dropped in for a walk off. My whole team ran out onto the field and picked me up. Then my coach came over, put me on his shoulders and said “Danny we did it”.
