Life is a pool table.
And you are the ball
Knocked around continuously,
Bumping into new balls
It never ends,
Until you`re knocked into a pocket

My life is a football

All the stitches need to be their,
Or I will fall apart.
Others are the leathery grip
reassuring I am in grasp.

I am a seed. To what flower is unknown.
But I am a seed waiting to be grown.
Should I be tall, or short, or large or small,
my destination is not known at all.
Should I be brave? Perhaps take a risk?
Or shall I wait, and sit and resist.
I am a seed, with my future unknown,
just waiting until one day, I am fully grown.

Life is the letter G
Capital or lowercase
It is a swirl of evil and good

Black ink on pearl paper
Dark with the pain
For the suffocating fear
Stone encircled in hurt
Bad always noticed before the good

Sun shaped into the crevices
Good seeping in the cracks
Hope hidden behind a barrier

Life is like a basketball game. Your team could start strong, or be more of a second-half-kind-of-group. Whatever kind of team you are, you have the same thirst to dominate. When you are in your early ages, you get the ball passed to you in the key for an easy lay-up, but as the game goes on, you will be on the defensive side where you need to fend for the ball yourself. Some shots will fall, others will be air balled, but the outcome of the game is all up to you. I can guarantee you that you will be knocked down, flat on your butt several times, but I know you will always get up. I guarantee you that you will be disappointed, but someone will always come around to get your hopes high again. Sometimes the whistle in life blows much too early. For others, they sadly just can't wait for their game to be over, but that's how life is. You'll have players who are like that, and people can be like that in life. Just keep going. One thing that is different between basketball and life is that you don't have practice. Nobody gives you a crash course lesson in life, you're just born and sometimes you're left here on Earth to guess. You're only given one chance to get an "A" in life. It may be hard. It may be discouraging, and let me tell you, it will seem impossible at times. But that's just the game.

Life is a river
Seemingly no beginning or end.
A river is a scar across the land, like the legacy's we leave behind.
The ups and downs life brings you are the currents in a river
But sometimes, the river flows steady and smooth.

Life is a carousel,
You can be up or down depending on the feelings,
Perhaps you just circle round and round,
Circling your thoughts throughout,
You enjoy the ride not thinking about the time left,
Spinning without mind of others,
And living free of clouds,
Until your ride comes to a stop you don't realize how much you should cherish it because it could be your last ticket.

Life is a mountain climb,
You pick your trail or path,
Take the easy marked trails,
Or the risky cliffs that sneak up on you,
Like a little kid determined to frighten you.

Take a treacherous, tiring hike,
Go through all the scrapes and bruises,
Navigate through all the rocks that lie in your path,
When you reach the top the past is in the past,
All you do is take in the beautiful scenery.

My life is a pair of blue jeans neatly folded up in a bottom drawer. The pockets are a place to store my deepest secrets. All of the stitches zig-zagging up and down each side of my leg are the beloved people in my life. The scratchy fabric used to make these pants is my tolerance. Blue staining the inside and out is my calm personality.

Let life be a playoff game
Exciting finishes
Suspenseful at the final buzzer
Full of final drives, buzzer beaters, miracles, comebacks, and final outs
Let those playing be the fumblers
Full of mistakes and making the game even more dramatic than its supposed to

Society is dark gray clouds grasping the sunlight -
Replacing it with horrid rain in mid-day or maybe the moon at night-
Society wants to break us like a stick of celery -
Rip and tear us apart like a piece of paper -
Steal every last bit of being uniqueness that's left in us like a bank robber -
Society is an over-played song on the radio- irritating all when being reminded of it-
Society's goal is to cover up all the colorful lines of happiness and replace them with dark ones -
Maybe put a few holes in the page -
Society is an old house- contantly there because no one has the heart to take it down -
Society is like a ton of bricks- when it hits you there's no recovery
But most of all, society is the thing that tries to sculpt us and give us that "perfect image" everyone looks for- society is a perfectionist

Life is like baking a cake,
The utensils are your family, they can help you when times are rough.
The pan is your parents they shape and support you while you grow.
The ingredients and spices are your personalities and experiences that form who you are.
Sometimes you follow the recipe and at other times you are creative.

Life is a family tree,
some branches spill out happiness
some branches spill out anger
some branches are just distant memory, forgotten over time.
Sometimes, when you are feeling down, you are at the bottom,
yet sometimes, when you are feeling good, you are at the top.
Branches unknown stretching on forever are the moods even you can't quite place, but know somehow are there.

A person is part of nature. They exhale wind blowing it over the everlasting land and cry out rain soaking everything in their sorrow. They grow with the flowers and blow away with the leaves. They stick around like snow, almost never to leave. And like always. They rise with the shimmering sun, and fall with the silver moon.

Life is a thundering sky,
All clouded up with mist.
Obstacles will appear as you fly,
Asking what is this.

Honestly, you’ll never know,
unless you take the chance.
You need to pull back that stringed bow,
and make your legacy a dance.

Through the air you will soar,
Just seeing as you do.
The fog clears away from the floor,
When you bid your final ado.

And when you slow down,
And you’ve done all there was to do.
You can glance down at the wonderful gown,
That was created with decisions made by you.

But when you turn back around,
And look towards the sky.
And after you take your final bow,
The air is still clouded when you make your final goodbye.

But for now I must say bye,
And i mustn't tell a lie,
For a life without life held with no memories to keep,

I shall play my card,
But however it comes to be hard,
I will prevail and might they make songs about me sang by bards,
I will play my card.

Dancing is a wild bird,
who flies freely around the world.
The gracefulness of the flight,
is an extravagant performance.
The way its wings turn left and right,
makes you stop and stare.

Dancing is a summer breeze,
that whooshes around the trees.
It blows leaves into the air,
until gravity pulls them back to Earth.
The presentation makes you grin,
and you appreciate the exhibit.

Dancing is a shooting star,
that flies across the night sky.
It lights up the land below,
as humanity wishes upon it.
It chooses a path in the sky,
and follows it into the horizon.

Dancing is a painter’s brush,
that slides across the canvas.
It moves in such an elegant way,
creating a beautiful routine.
In the end everyone stares,
at the masterpiece you composed.

Dancing is a way of life,
that lets you express yourself.

Some prefer to be backstage
But in the end, we are all just looking for that one thing, the applause.

Love, a strike to the heart that can leave the victim flattered or mortally offended.

This strike to your heart sends you backwards.
After recovering, there may be a smile with blushed cheeks...
Or a frown with tears streaming down singed cheeks...

This strike shows you who is meant for you...
Or it shows you who hates you...

This strike shows your true potential...
Or it shows your true depression...

Love is a true path in life... Showing us where we will be...
Who will be by our side...

You may hold a flower to the love of your life, while you kneel on one knee...
The other may push it away... Revealing the truth of another...

Love IS life...
You never know how it is going to end...
Unless you get started...

If life is no
Dress rehearsal
Then why is everyone
Getting into costume?

The stage lights
Are on
But I don't
See an audience
Watching me.

We are the only
Producers
And I have no script
Or lines
Or stage directions.

If life is no
Dress rehearsal
Then at the end
Of my performance,
Who will clap?

Enclosed.
Encased.
Eaten.
By the mason jar I call lfe.
Surrounded by nothing except for my limits.
I can see the tin lid
My sky; if only I could reach
The little holes of the last breaths I have.
The walls stand as the monument
Of my captivity,
Warped and mirrored; if only I could see
There are no corners to hide in
Just stratches on the glass,
My chains, my whips.
With my limits come my fantasies
Dreams of immenent possibilities
Of the day I am forgotten
And all my burdens stack upon the lid
Or even the cliche of falling,
Crushing the brittle glass jar
Into an oblivion of silence.
No longer surrounded by my jar,
But my tomb,
My mausoleum,
My madness.

Love is a flower.
The seeds are planted when two people meet each other.
Watering their relationship as the roots dig deeper into the earth.
Their love showers the plant as the stem grows.
Sunlight strengthens the relationship and the blossoms bloom into a strong unconditional love.
The thorns create a bumpy path taking the couple up to the petals of the flower on a roller coaster ride.
As the flower dies so does the love.
The couple drifts apart as the last few leafs drift to the soil.

Life is a rollarcoaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump, or you can throw your hands up in the air and enjoy it. It's filled with unexpected curves, twists and turns, ups and downs, testing over and over our nerves. Excitingly, we reach the top. But before the can enjoy the view, suddenly we're hurdled downward feeling sick, deflated, and blue. The feeling of reaching your goals just to be knocked down once again- but it's your choice weather to stand up and ride again, or wimp out and live your life on the kiddy rides.

We soar through the sky,
weather it's gently or roughly,
we've had our feathers ruffled,
and we've ruffled eachother's,
but in the end we stay and leave,
to find new places far and wide,
out of curiosity, strife, and most if all, admiration.
Thus why we represent love, hope, compassion, and faith.
We have the ability to extend our wings and let the wind take us anywhere,
and we have the beauty and praise for us oy be recognized.
We have our white feathers to give us the ability to blend with the crowd,
Or,
we
can
use
it
to
STAND OUT against others.

May love be a tenuous bubble?
Its insubstantial rampart
pulverizes as it gets too close to its paramour,
but demolishes as it ascends from the troposphere.

Love's brilliantly colored,
showing rainbows in only
the most commendable spots
of its bubble.

The particles in the mass of air
floating around,
are the feelings we get
during this irregular relationship.

Oxygen in the air bubbles
save you from extinction
as you're trapped beneath the ice,
waiting for your life to finally begin.

Love is just a hollow sphere of oil
ruining the longevity
of unobjectionable animals,
as love does the same to curious human beings
who just want to experiment with it.

Bubbles blown by younglings,
old folks as well,
won't nearly last as long
as the love that belongs to the new-life starters,
for those won't die of old age,
or burst immediately by the beginners.

Oh, all the various sizes,
which one should I choose?
The major one that's jumbo,
or the minor one that's fun-sized?

We are the liquid solution,
before the bubble's blown,
until the bubble's finished,
we will lie here in despair.

We mount ourselves
into this bubble we call love,
which is actually a trap,
a trap of hatred and disgust,
that we shall be left alone to die in.
